Today’s new generation is highly versatile, capable of handling a wide range of skills and responsibilities. Working hard and constantly seeking new knowledge has become a defining characteristic of modern professionals. At the same time, they place great importance on their physical well-being and overall health.
‘Lek Korranok Yongsakul,’ CEO of RBL Training Academy, is a strong and capable woman who serves as a coach and trainer for various organizations, designing training courses to meet organizational needs. At the same time, she also plays the role of an executive, responsible for managing both people and business operations.
Beyond her professional responsibilities, she takes care of herself through regular exercise, adequate rest, and continuous learning, making her a true example of the modern generation that balances work performance with health and quality of life.
What courses does RBL offer?
We offer a wide variety of courses, including people management training and leadership development programs that focus on cultivating leadership qualities. We also provide courses on designing service systems that can be applied immediately in real work situations.
Primarily, however, our courses are customized based on each organization’s needs. We design each program to align with the organization’s objectives, direction, and people. The core of effective course design lies in thorough discussion and inquiry, allowing us to understand the real challenges and needs of our clients before developing solutions.
What factors help an organization move toward success?
Vision, teamwork, and empathy within the team are key challenges for coaches. Our role is to help participants open their minds and recognize the importance of these elements together, enabling us to guide and develop them effectively over time.
You manage both coaching and executive responsibilities. How do you take care of yourself?
Everyone has the same 24 hours a day, most of which are spent sleeping, commuting, and working. Therefore, the most important thing is how we allocate and manage our time. I always prepare and plan ahead, organizing my schedule weekly and prioritizing tasks for each day.
In today’s world, technology plays a major role. I use Google Calendar, Google Meet, and other digital tools to communicate with clients, allowing me to work anytime and anywhere.
How important is rest to you?
It’s extremely important. My work requires intensive physical and mental performance, so I must give special attention to rest both physically and mentally to stay prepared for upcoming tasks. For people in this profession, rest is not optional; it’s a responsibility.
How do you usually rest?
I enjoy meditation because it helps improve focus. Reading is another form of rest for me. Traveling, on the other hand, isn’t really rest I see it more as an opportunity to learn, gain new experiences, and explore different cultures.
How do you usually add new knowledge to yourself?
I feed my mind through reading, listening to podcasts, watching TED Talks, and enrolling in courses that interest me. I make a conscious effort to keep learning and continuously nourish my brain.
How important is flexibility in life to you?
It’s very important. My work requires physical activity, so having strong and flexible muscles is essential. It allows me to move efficiently, stay active, maintain good posture, run correctly, and reduce the risk of injury.
From an organizational perspective, flexibility is equally important for leaders. Leaders set the example employees follow their behavior. A boss is a role model who inspires others. That’s why flexibility and adaptability are crucial qualities for leadership.
How was your experience stretching at Stretch me today?
It was very relaxing and helped me understand which areas of my body need extra care. The physical therapists provided guidance throughout the session. For me, the areas that need the most attention are my shoulder blades and legs, since my work requires standing for long periods.
After the Advance Office Stretch program at Stretch me, I felt much more comfortable. The therapists also recommended stretching exercises to do at home, which I’ve tried. After long workdays, when fatigue sets in, these stretches are very helpful.
I think Stretch me is ideal for urban professionals with limited time. It’s convenient and provides noticeable relief in a short period. Most importantly, you gain practical knowledge you can apply at home, at work, or at the gym effective stretching techniques that have been proven to work.
